Delhi CM Rekha Gupta conducted a review of preparedness under the Heat Wave Action Plan 2026 and issued directions amid IMD's heatwave warning. Directions have been issued to ensure adequate bed capacity for heat-related cases, and ambulances should be prepared for emergencies. The uninterrupted functioning of tankers, water coolers, and water ATMs has also been directed.
