A Delhi court sought an explanation from Delhi Police officers for filing a petition seeking to "handcuff" Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi, both arrested in connection with the northeast Delhi riots case. Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Yadav dismissed the petition and asked for a report from DCP (Special Cell), who is dealing with the investigation of the case.
