A Delhi court on Tuesday directed TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee to appear on September 7. The case is for allegedly filing a false affidavit regarding his education qualification with his nomination papers for 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Abhishek had initially been summoned on August 13 but prayed for an exemption citing a medical emergency with his wife.
