Delhi crimes up by over 20% against India's 3% in 2018-19: NCRB
Crimes in Delhi rose by over 20% from 2018 to 2019 while the national crime figures during the same period saw a 3%-rise in cases registered under IPC, National Crime Records Bureau's (NCRB) data stated. Over 82% of the 2,90,000 crimes in Delhi were thefts, the data stated. Rape cases in 2019 rose by 3% in Delhi compared to 2018.
