Delhi district courts to remain closed today as lawyers observe one-day strike

All district courts in Delhi will remain closed on October 27 as lawyers observe a one-day strike over alleged police high-handedness at Shahdara police station. Advocates alleged that a senior police officer displayed his revolver and threatened them when they sought action in an assault case involving lawyer Lalit Bansal. Lawyers have demanded the suspension of the officer and SHO.
