Delhi’s Power Minister Ashish Sood on Monday directed officials to fast-track 4 lakh new Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections amid LPG situation due to West Asia crisis. "The process of providing PNG connections should be made simple, transparent, and citizen-friendly," Sood said. Delhi has capacity to provide 18 lakh PNG connections of which 14 lakh have been allotted.
