Delhi Minister Ashish Sood announced a hike in cash awards for Olympic medal winners. As per new policy, gold winners will get ₹7 crore, while silver and bronze medallists will receive ₹5 crore and ₹3 crore, respectively. The government will also offer Group A jobs to gold and silver medallists in government services, and Group B jobs to bronze medallists.
