The Delhi government has mandated a third language in Class IX from the current academic session. Students who don't clear the Class IX R3 exam won't be allowed to appear for the Class X board examination. The revised scheme also introduces two levels of Mathematics and Science for Class IX, under which students can take two exams, common and advanced.
