Around 2,00,000 diesel vehicles that are at least 10 years old will be de-registered by the Delhi government on January 1, according to an order issued by the UT's transport department. Delhi transport department has de-registered at least 1,00,000 old diesel vehicles so far. An estimated 38 lakh vehicles in Delhi are technically overaged, as per a report.
