District authorities in Delhi and Gurugram have issued warnings to pathology labs, asking them to stop conducting repeat RT-PCR tests on people who have already tested positive for COVID-19 by either RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs). A person who has tested positive for COVID-19 may, however, seek a second test after recovery, as per ICMR guidelines.
