Labourers least paid and least cared for: Delhi High Court

Delhi High Court reduced convict Veer Pal's sentence from 5 years to 3 years and modified his charge from attempt to murder to causing hurt, after he attacked a labourer with a cobbler's tool in 2002. The court observed that labourers are 'least paid and least cared for' and society fails to value their physical labour.
