Delhi HC denies bail to Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam in riots case

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to grant bail to Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 Delhi riots larger conspiracy case. The court observed that the Supreme Court had directed them to file for bail again after a year or after the protected witnesses had been examined. The court rejected Khalid's bail plea for the third time.
