Delhi HC on Monday directed WFI to take show-cause notice to Vinesh Phogat to "its logical conclusion" by July 6 and place its decision before it. WFI had ruled her ineligible for Asian Games selection trials, scheduled to be held on May 30. Refusing interim relief, the court said allowing her to compete now could later be rendered a "nullity".
