The Delhi High Court has directed MCD to conduct survey of constructions in and around Jama Masjid within two days. "In case if any illegal construction is found, appropriate action warranted under law shall also be taken," the court said. This comes in the wake of an MCD demolition drive near Turkman Gate that led to violence on Wednesday.
