The Delhi High Court dismissed petition of a death row convict in the 2006 Mumbai train blast case seeking information under RTI on the ban on terror outfit Indian Mujahideen. Ehtesham Qutubuddin Siddique sought Centre's "background notes" and reports of Gujarat, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh governments over the ban. In 2019, the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) denied him the information.
