Delhi HC questions MP/MLA endorsement rule for Lakshmi Yojana

The Delhi High Court questioned the Delhi government over requiring an endorsement by a local MP/MLA to avail benefits under the Lakshmi Yojana, offering ₹2,500 per month to eligible women. The court said such an endorsement could not be justified when eligibility can be verified through documents. The requirement for endorsement was not mentioned in the scheme, the court observed.
