Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to allow devotees to perform Chhath Puja at Geeta Colony Ghats on Yamuna river bank. "The fact is that river is so polluted...person will suffer harm. We can't allow that," HC said. Delhi government's counsel told court that Delhi government has earmarked 1,000 spots to perform Chhath Puja and sufficient arrangements have been made.
