The Delhi High Court has rejected former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav's plea to pause trial court proceedings against him in connection with the alleged land-for-jobs scam. The plea argued that a prior sanction was necessary to probe his role into the alleged scam being investigated by CBI. The proceedings in trial court are scheduled to commence on June 2.
