The Delhi HC on Tuesday sought response from the Centre and Prasar Bharati on a petition seeking free broadcast of FIFA World Cup 2026. The petitioner urged the Centre to acquire the broadcasting rights for important matches, including the opening match and the final, through Prasar Bharti as no broadcaster has secured rights yet.
