The Delhi government on Thursday notified the Witness Protection Scheme, 2015, following directions from the high court. Under the scheme, witnesses will be provided protection based on the sensitivity of the case and threat perception. "We are the first state to have such a policy," Home Minister Satyendar Jain said.
