Delhi has witnessed around 50 hours of dense fog in January so far, the maximum in the month since 2019, a senior India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said on Tuesday. The official added that the cold wave Delhi witnessed in January, from January 5-9, was the longest in a decade. Delhi had witnessed a seven-day-long cold wave in 2013.
