Delhi-Lucknow in 2 hrs, Delhi-Patna in 4.5 hrs under proposed bullet train corridor

A proposed bullet train corridor could reduce Delhi-Lucknow travel time to 2 hours 12 minutes and from Delhi to Patna to about 4.5 hours, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said. The corridor would cover the Delhi-Agra distance in 58 minutes and Delhi and Prayagraj in about three hours. The journey from Delhi to Varanasi is expected to take around 3.3 hours.
