The hike in the fare of metro rides in the national capital will come into force from Wednesday, with the new passenger fare structure starting at ₹10 and going up to ₹50. The revised rates distinguish prices for Sundays and national holidays giving a 10% discount. Notably, tariffs would be revised again in October, when the maximum will turn ₹60.
