The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday announced that the metro services will begin at 4 am on February 8, when the Assembly elections will be held in the national capital. The DMRC said that this was done to facilitate the polling personnel and others to reach their destinations on time. Delhi Metro services generally begin at 5:30 am.
