With around 300 cases of racial discrimination since Feb, the national capital has witnessed the maximum cases of a racial nature, according to a government committee report. Almost 60 to 70% of persons met by the committee said they had faced racial discrimination. The panel blamed lack of awareness about the culture of the northeast for the rising crimes.
