The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway is nearing completion and will improve road travel between Delhi and Mumbai. A 4.9-km tunnel near Kota, built under the Mukundara Hills Tiger Reserve, is a key part of the project. The expressway will allow speeds up to 120 km/h and is expected to cut travel time to around 12 hours.
