A Delhi Police sub-inspector Deepak Jakhar has been transferred to district lines following a bribery complaint against him. A businessman alleged that Jakhar had threatened him with a sedition case if he did not give him ₹10 lakh. "The businessman....sent an email to the vigilance branch...informed a Delhi court while applying for anticipatory bail," police said.
