The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) on July 1 announced that the Delhi Premier League (DPL) will feature eight teams in its second season, which is two more that the tournament had in its inaugural edition earlier this year. Outer Delhi and New Delhi are the two new franchises that will join the existing six teams from next season.
