A sudden spell of strong winds, dust storms and rain brought major relief from scorching heat across Delhi-NCR. Temperatures dropped sharply, with some areas recording declines of up to 14 degrees. Ayanagar saw the biggest fall, while Safdarjung recorded a 7 degrees drop. The IMD expects more thunderstorms and light rainfall through the week as monsoon activity continues to strengthen.
