Delhi recorded its coldest December day in six years on Wednesday with maximum temperature at 14.2°C, about 6.2 notches below normal. The minimum temperature settled at 6.4°C, around 0.4 notches below the seasonal average. Notably, Delhi had recorded maximum temperature at 9.4°C on December 31, 2019, the data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) showed.
