Delhi on Monday recorded its all-time highest June temperature at 48°C, as per weather forecasting company Skymet. The previous highest June temperature in Delhi was 47.8°C on June 9, 2014, followed by 47.4°C on June 16, 1995. As per an official, the factors leading to this included dry westerly winds and no effect of a western disturbance in the plains.
