Delhi reports 1,449 H1N1 cases in 2026, six-fold rise from 2025

Delhi has reported 1,449 H1N1 influenza cases so far in 2026, over six times the 229 cases recorded during the corresponding period last year, according to National Centre for Disease Control data. Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said dedicated wards have been set up in hospitals to manage the increase in cases, and Delhi hospitals are staying alert.
