Delhi riots began after Kapil Mishra's speech: Minority panel report

The Delhi Minorities Commission said that the Delhi Police could have averted the violence in the capital's north-east area in February had they arrested BJP leader Kapil Mishra. The commission's fact-finding committee said in a report that violence began "almost immediately" after Mishra's speech on February 23 in which he called for forcefully removing CAA protestors in Jaffrabad.
