Delhi's air pollution can persist for 5 days: Study

Air pollution in Delhi can persist for up to five days when atmospheric conditions are unfavourable for the dispersion of pollutants, as per a study published in 'Environmental Pollution'. Researchers found that pollution levels were mainly driven by the accumulation and subsequent dispersion of pollutants. The study analysed air quality and meteorological data from January 2017 to December 2024.
