Delhi's IGI becomes India’s first water-positive mega airport

Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport has created history by becoming India's first water-positive airport in the 40-million-plus passenger category, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) announced. The achievement follows major water-saving measures, including 625 rainwater harvesting units, massive underground reservoirs, and a 16.6 MLD zero-liquid-discharge plant.
