TVK chief Vijay is set to appear before the CBI office in Delhi on Monday, in connection with the Karur stampede case. Barricades have been erected on roads around the CBI office in Lodhi Road, and traffic has been diverted. A summons was issued to the actor-turned-politician on 6 January, asking him to appear at the CBI office.
