Delhi recorded the season's lowest temperature on Thursday morning, with the Safdarjung weather station recording a minimum temperature of 5.8 degrees Celsius, according to data from the IMD website. The previous known lowest minimum temperature of the season was 6.1 degrees Celsius, recorded on December 20. This comes as an intense cold wave has gripped northern India.
