Commercial vehicle drivers’ unions in Delhi have called for a three-day strike from May 21 to May 23, demanding a hike in taxi and auto fares amid rising fuel prices. Chaalak Shakti Union warned of a “large-scale protest” if the Delhi government fails to increase the fares and issue a notification in this regard within one to two weeks.
