Temperature in the national capital went five notches above the season's normal as mercury touched 25.9 degrees Celsius on Monday. This is reportedly the warmest January day recorded in last four years in Delhi. Meanwhile, the IMD forecast showed possibility of light rain or thundershowers in the morning and evening hours on Tuesday, due to the approaching western disturbance.
