The Delhi government has set up inspection teams and stepped up measures against possible child marriages ahead of Akshaya Tritiya on Sunday. The teams comprising tehsildars and patwaris have been deputed in sub-divisions across the 13 revenue districts, officials said. This comes following an advisory by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) alerting all states and UTs.
