Delhi is soon going to get two new revenue districts, which will take the total number of districts to 13. The Delhi Cabinet has given in-principle approval to the proposal, which will now be sent to Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena for consent. Under the plan, the North district will be divided into Civil Lines and Old Delhi.
