A proposed 150-km extension of the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor could connect Delhi and Rishikesh in just 2.5-3 hours. The project aims to improve connectivity, boost tourism, and support economic growth across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. If approved, it would significantly reduce travel time and expand India's rapidly growing regional rapid transit network.
