The government has divided air routes into 7 categories based on flight durations for regulating fares till August 24. For a journey between 90-120 minutes, which includes the Delhi-Mumbai route, the minimum fare will be ₹3,500 and maximum ₹10,000. 40% of the tickets will have to be sold at a price less than the mid-point of the price band.
