The groundwater usage regulations in Delhi, which were last notified in 2010, are likely to be revised. The revision will be in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Central Ground Water Authority in 2020, The Indian Express reported. The need to revise the regulations was brought up in a meeting of the state-level groundwater resources estimation committee.
