A delivery agent assaulted a pet dog and its owner following a confrontation during a parcel delivery. The incident commenced after the animal barked at the courier, prompting him to hurl a large package at it. Reports stated that the worker subsequently thrashed the owner before repeatedly striking the injured dog and fleeing.
