Deloitte flagged lapses in the internal financial controls of Dailyhunt and Josh apps' parent company VerSe Innovation, Moneycontrol and ET reported. Verse didn't have appropriate internal controls over selection and evaluation of suppliers, approval of purchase orders and invoices, and payments. This could lead to "material misstatements" in trade payables and expense accounts, Deloitte said.
