Demand for Agentic AI engineers in India jumped 260% in 2026, the fastest growth among emerging technology roles tracked by CIEL HR. GenAI architects and AI product owners grew 120%, while LLM and MLOps roles also saw strong increases. At the same time, AI is taking on significant portions of routine technology workloads, increasing the need for specialised AI.
