Facebook India Managing Director Umang Bedi on Thursday spoke in favour of the government's demonetisation move, calling it a "great step forward towards removing many bottleneck operations including cash on delivery operations in Indian e-commerce market." Speaking at the Global Mobile Internet Conference, he added, "Retail is slowing down a little bit, but I think it is very short-term glitch."
