Singapore is experiencing a huge rise in dengue infections, with cases in the opening quarter more than double that of the same period last year. The National Environment Agency says more than 5,000 cases have been reported - a sharp increase from the 2,360 cases in 2023. Authorities also reported the death of seven people from local infection.
