Denmark extends mandatory military service to 11 months amid Trump's threats
Denmark army's recruits began their 11-month service period as part of the country's extended conscription after US President Donald Trump's threats to annex Greenland. Denmark earlier said service time would be increased from 4 months to 11 months and would include women for the first time. Denmark plans to increase its annual military recruits from 5,000 to 7,500 by 2033.
